About the Journey
A Journey of Connection is finding calm within business.
It’s a whole other organism. I created A Journey of Connection to be a whole other organism. An extension of myself. An extension of me.
A Journey of Connection is not a regular old business. It’s a feeling. It’s a vibe. It’s an experience. It’s an extension of myself I curated to fit the desired next phase of my existence. It’s new, but it’s worn in. It’s not necessarily the “polished” new. It’s the new that feels a little bit lived-in, just like my own Journey.
It’s a visual experience, as well as an internal and reflective experience.
I want people to experience the freedom and calm of reflectivity when they think about, look at, or experience A Journey of Connection.
A Journey of Connection is also a way of connecting to ourselves.
The water is the Journey.
The comforting essence of the beach, the wind washing over your face and body. The aesthetic of the beach. The freedom that comes with just running across the sand and sailing in the ocean. The grown-up innocence that peacefully exists within the nautical landscape. Not a chaotic or jarring sense of innocence, it’s a peaceful sense of innocence we can all grow with as we age and find more comfort in the fact that we are becoming “bigger people,” drifting further and further away from our childhoods.
And it’s one constant. It’s a coping place, more than a place to cope. It’s a place we go to find ourselves. It’s a place to go to find rest and recovery and reconciliation.
The water holds the depth of our grief, and all that we have lost in our lives, whether or not we chose to lose it.

We’d be a stellar match if:
You like minimalist and/or elegant design (I can work with other aesthetics,
but this is my strength)
You are a music fan
You have a corny sense of humor
You are a reflector
You value wisdom and beauty in the world
You often straddle between being yourself and caring what others think
You aren’t the most positive person, but you do hold hope
You struggle with opening up to others, and tend to avoid serious conversations
You(‘ve been told you’re) are an old soul or wise beyond your years
You enjoy poetry/prose/writing
You experience the world deeply

Even in your branding, you are always coming back to yourself.
All along your journey, your brand, and your business, walk hand in hand with your everyday existence.
Alas, you are always coming back to yourself.
As humans, we are always striving to come back to ourselves. It’s an ache we all carry in some way. Especially in our work and in our personal lives.
